Pay extra attention to the fabrics and the colors, and think if both of these features will fit the size and color of the room or space you’re putting it in.
Still, if your budget can stretch it, you can buy new pieces of furniture. Buy those that are very well made. Actually, old furniture tend to be very sturdy so you can open your options to these sets specially. Look for hardwood because they look good and are very sturdy.
Also, you can go and buy a new lamp or sets of lamps. These accessories accentuates the light in the room, which can add or subdue the mood of the place in pretty much the same way as painting a room does. The difference is that, they can be moved around the houses (and even from house to house) wherever and however you please. They represent the best sources of lighting compared to the permanent overhead ones because they require no complex rewiring. You can combine both floor and table lamps to create good lighting.
